Tammy Gonzalez
Hello! I am Tammy González and I am the Song Leader at First Baptist Church. I was born and raised in Albion, where my parents Ron and Carroll Falk lived and worked.
I accepted Christ as my Savior and was baptized when I was 8 years old.
While attending college at UNK, I met and married my husband, José González.
After graduating with a degree in Elementary Education, we moved to José’s home country, Venezuela, where we lived for 17 years. We had three children while we were there, Jessica, Kendra, and Ronald, and I was blessed to be a stay at home mom while they grew up.
In 2010, we decided to move to Nebraska to give our children a better future. We have lived here ever since. Our children have all graduated from college and live in Nebraska.
My husband works at Vishay Intertechnology in Columbus and I work at Boone Central Schools as the EL teacher. I help students who come to school with little or no English background to become proficient in the English language. Music has always been important to me, so I truly enjoy being a part of the morning worship service at the First Baptist Church in Albion. Please come join us any time!
